| William Pincus Director, President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Pincus became CEO of Esperanza in 2002 and has over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to Esperanza he was Vice President of Sunshine Mining Company, overseeing the development of the 155-million-ounce Pirquitas silver deposit. Previously Mr. Pincus was Executive Vice President of the mining consulting firm, Pincock, Allen and Holt. Prior experience includes both FMC Gold (now Meridian Gold) and Atlas Corporation where he was involved in the successful exploration and acquisition of various precious metal projects. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in geology in 1975 and received an M.Sc. in geology and an M.Sc. in mineral economics in 1981 and 1986, respectively, from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a Certified Professional Geologist. |

| Steve Ristorcelli Director Mr. Ristorcelli is currently the principal geologist for Mine Development Associates, an independent mining and geological consulting firm in Reno, Nevada. His experience includes resource estimates and estimate reviews or audits, worldwide evaluations of precious, base, noble and industrial minerals projects, and mine production reconciliation. He has 30 years experience in the mining industry, including supervision of exploration programs and developing resources for a variety of minerals and metals. Mr. Ristorcelli is a director of other private and publicly traded companies in the mining industry and is a Certified Professional Geologist. |
